Leaving Istanbul on 24 April, you’ll travel to the Gallipoli Peninsula, rest in Çanakkale, and then make your way through the night towards the ceremony grounds. As the stars fade and the first light touches the shoreline, you’ll stand among thousands of fellow travellers for the ANZAC Day Dawn Service — a moment of silence you will remember for the rest of your life.
After the Dawn Service, you’ll continue to the Australian Memorial at Lone Pine or the New Zealand Memorial at Chunuk Bair to honour the soldiers who fought on these ridgelines over a century ago.

Itinerary
24 April: Istanbul
Istanbul → Gallipoli Peninsula → Canakkale

Please arrive on time.
We begin our journey from Istanbul and drive towards the Gallipoli Peninsula, stopping briefly en route to purchase snacks and supplies for the long night ahead.
Important Note — 24 April Access
Government security procedures determine entry to Gallipoli on 24 April.
If high-level dignitaries (Prime Minister, Ministers, senior officials) attend rehearsals or ceremonies, access for tour vehicles may be restricted.
Your program adjusts based on official guidelines:
If access is permitted:
- Early departure from Istanbul
- Short complimentary Gallipoli battlefield orientation
- Ferry crossing to Çanakkale
- Hotel check-in & rest
- Around midnight: cross back to the peninsula
- Arrival at Anzac Cove (~01:00) to secure a place for the overnight wait before the Dawn Service
If access is restricted:
- Direct drive to Canakkale
- Hotel check-in & rest
- Evening departure for Gallipoli
- Secure your place at Anzac Cove before the crowds

25 April: ANZAC Day Dawn Service
ANZAC Day Dawn Service → Memorial Ceremonies → Istanbul
Before sunrise, thousands gather at Anzac Cove for the moving Dawn Service — a powerful moment shared by Australians, New Zealanders, and visitors from around the world.
After the Dawn Service, travellers may join either:

After the ceremonies, we begin the journey back to Istanbul.
