Terms & Conditions

The following outlines are the terms and conditions upon which you will be making a booking with “AnzacDay.Tours”. These terms and conditions are in place to outline the extent of our services and our responsibilities as well as safeguard our customers interests. These terms and conditions cover all tours and all associated services relating to these such as transportation, transfers, accommodation (as part of the tour and additional nights), additional activities etc.

By making a booking with “AnzacDay.Tours” you are agreeing to these terms and conditions and accepting them on behalf of all persons within your booking group. As the principal client making the booking you are obliged to:

(1) Bring these terms and conditions to the attention of all others in the party;
(2) Establish their needs in relation to travel insurance.
(3) Become principally liable to AnzacDay.Toursfor the cost of the holiday.


To secure your place on an tour you are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total initial booking amount. You are free to pay the full amount of the tour at time of booking which will be subject to the cancellation policy as outlined below under Cancellation in the event that you choose to cancel your booking prior to departure. Full payment must be received by 1st April otherwise “AnzacDay.Tours” reserve the right to cancel your booking. You will be contacted via email prior to this date to advise you on how to make your final payment. If paying by bank transfer then please ensure payment reaches us no later than this date.

Confirmation of booking will not be made until payment has been received. Any customers making payment by Bank Transfer may need to wait up to 7 days for confirmation to be made. Although you will receive confirmation of booking receipt when paying by PayPal or credit card usually within 48 hours.


All cancellation requests by the customer must be made in writing to us and cancellations will be subject to a cancellation fee depending on when it is received by “AnzacDay.Tours”. In the event that a customer cancels their booking or any part of their booking then “AnzacDay.Tours” will retain the following percentage of the payment which are best estimates of likely losses to “AnzacDay.Tours” as a result of your cancellation:

Please note:

If you have paid in full then the appropriate amount will be retained and the difference refunded. If you have only paid a deposit and you cancel then the difference owed based on the above cancellation schedule will be charged to the credit card and you will be advised in writing that this has been done.

No refunds for any unused parts of the holiday/tours will be given- so if you decide to cut short your vacation or don’t stay in the hotel, or don’t do a particular tour then we will not refund you for the unused parts.

If after making your booking and receiving confirmation from us, you wish to make any changes to your booking such as hotels or you wish to change to another of our Anzac Day Tours, we will do our best to make the changes you require but cannot guarantee your needs can be met. Any changes to booking will be subject to a £25 administration fee.

In certain circumstances we may have to cancel your holiday, if this should happen we would return to you all the money you have paid us. We will not cancel your holiday unless: Your holiday is influenced by events beyond our control such as war or threat of war, riots, strikes, epidemics, bad weather, technical problems to transport, closure of ports, terrorists activities or government action or similar events beyond our control.

After departure if the running of the tour is hindered by events beyond our control i.e. Strikes, port closures, breakdowns of public transport, delays due to the busy ANZAC DAY period etc. We will not be held liable for compensation, payments or refunds. If for reasons beyond our control we have to change your hotel we will do all within our power to substitute the booked hotel with another of the same standard.

“AnzacDay.Tours” reserves the unconditional right to refuse a booking or terminate a passengers holiday in the event of unreasonable conduct.

If a member of a booking party is prevented from travelling it might be possible to transfer the booking to another suitable person. The person making the original booking needs to provide written notice at least 50 days prior to the tour departure. Changes cannot be guaranteed and an administration fee of £50 will be charged plus any additional costs that are imposed on “AnzacDay.Tours” as a result of the change.

Insurance & Health

We strongly suggest you take out comprehensive travel insurance before your departure. “AnzacDay.Tours” are not responsible for providing customers with individual travel insurance.

Any passenger suffering from illness or disability or undergoing treatment for any physical or medical condition must declare the true nature of such condition at the time of booking and make arrangements for the provision of any medication or other treatment required during the tour. Failure to make such disclosure will constitute a breach of these terms and conditions and may result in such persons being excluded from the tour in which case all monies paid will be forfeited and “AnzacDay.Tours” will not be liable to pay any compensation whatsoever. If the chosen tour includes a cruise or excursion or transfer by boat of any sort the customer must make it known at the time of booking if he/she is unable to swim. This will not prevent the customer from participating in the tour but will enable “AnzacDay.Tours” to take additional precautions for the customers safety at such times as may be appropriate.

Passports & Visas
You are responsible for ensuring that you have all the necessary travel documents and that they are valid and effective. You will need a current passport that is valid for at least 6 months and the necessary visa documentation. Check with your local embassy or travel agent to get more info on Visas etc.

Entrance Fees
Unless stated entrance fees are not included in the tour price.

Taxes, Service Charges
Unless otherwise stated taxes and service charges are included in the tour price.

Tipping is part of the Travel scene. If you are satisfied with the service provided you might wish to show your appreciation by tipping the tour guide and driver at your discretion.


All our hotels are based on 2 people sharing a room. Triple rooms are usually available sometimes, however it may not be possible to provide triple rooms due to the hotel availability. Single travellers who do not wish to have a single room can be put in a twin or triple share. If it is not possible to share, a single supplement will need to be paid.

Local Laws

All participants in tours operated by “AnzacDay.Tours” are expected to obey the laws and regulations of Turkey and any failure to do so will relieve “AnzacDay.Tours” of all obligations that it may otherwise have under this agreement.


If the customer has a complaint about any of the tour arrangements, the customer must bring it to the attention of the tour guide or other representative of “AnzacDay.Tours” at the time so that they may use their reasonable endeavours to rectify the situation. Failure to do so at the time will affect the customers ability to claim compensation. Should the problem remain unsolved a complaint must be made in writing to “AnzacDay.Tours” within 28 days of the completion of the tour.

Customers Special Requests

If a customer has any special requests then they should inform “AnzacDay.Tours” at the time of booking. “AnzacDay.Tours” and its suppliers will try to meet such requests but, as these do not form part of this agreement and cannot guarantee that they can be met.

Passenger behaviour

You are responsible for ensuring that you are at the correct departure point at the correct time. We cannot be held liable for any loss or expense incurred if you are not at the departure point at the correct time.

We will carry out the itinerary as printed, unless for reasons beyond our control it becomes necessary to reschedule or alter part of the itinerary. We reserve the right to do this if necessary. We also reserve the right to alter or reschedule the itinerary if we deem it necessary to do so as to make the operation of the tour run more smoothly due to events that may have occurred which could hinder the smooth running of the tour.

Published running times of services are estimated. Services (ferries, buses, trains etc) are sometimes delayed due to industrial action, breakdowns, bad weather etc. We will not be held liable or accept responsibility for delays caused by any form or breakdown that occurs, unless it is due to negligence by “AnzacDay.Tours”.

Free Arrival Airport transfers are run from Ataturk International Airport on certain days and these will depart for the city once there is sufficient number of passengers to justify the journey. If you do not wish to wait or if you arrive outside these times then please feel free to make your own way to the hotel from the airport or we have a paid transfer service available. Transfers are also available from Sabiha Gokcen Airport at selected times (please refer itineraries and FAQs) but due to the distance of this airport from the city centre we will charge a fee for this based on the number of people travelling on the transfer.

Customers booking and wishing to join a group or passengers on an earlier booking must inform us at time of booking with all necessary information. We will do all we can to accommodate your needs but cannot guarantee that you will be on the same bus or hotels if these have already been allocated.

If you intend partake in the Bosphorus Cruise & the Gala Dinner on the 22nd April you are responsible for ensuring you arrive in Istanbul early enough on this day to allow enough time to be transported there prior to it starting. “AnzacDay.Tours” cannot be held responsible for your inability to attend due to flight arrival times or any delays outside of our control.
